Dear Friends,
As we enter the season of Lent we are not alone. Solomon son of David, king of Israel wrote: "Two  are better than one, because they have a good return for their work: If one falls down, his friend can help him up." (Ecclesiastes 4:9,10) As children of the gracious Heavenly Father we take joy in our lives in Christ, our lives together, we take joy in CHURCH.
What a joy it is to be numbered among the saints, to be declared righteous and holy for Christ's sake. Through the ark of the CHURCH, wherever God's Word is proclaimed and the sacraments (Baptism and The Lord's Supper) are present, God provides forgiveness, life, hope and salvation. There is no greater joy in all the earth than to hear that wonderful story that God loves me, that God forgives me. These words of truth are life and salvation. The journey only gets sweeter when we share His Words and this life with each other - what a wonderful life! Indeed, "Two are better than one...".

The PREPARE/ENRICH Program is used for premarital counseling, marriage preparation, and marriage enrichment. PREPARE/ENRICH includes a comprehensive couple assessment along with feedback using skills building exercises.

About The Grace Childcare Center |

We are ideally located less than 1 mile off Highway 127 for commuters, between Lansing and Jackson. Our childcare center has been open for more than thirteen years serving families in the mid-Michigan areas. It originally began with the children from Ms. Paulette Colister's day care and blossomed under her guidance for several years. The center continued under the gracious care of two additional directors, Ms. Erica Williard and Ms. Cheryl Sherrell. The church established the center with our Lord's great commission in mind, "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commannded you. And surely I will be with you always, too the very end of the age." Matthew 28:18-20
There is no question that "all nations" includes our children. Our Lord invites the little ones to come to Him and so it has been our congregation's mission to open the doors of the Church to children and families everywhere. It is our mission to provide a quality of care and service that embraces our Lord's great commission. The Grace Childcare Center is an extention of our Sunday worship. This special ministry of our church is one of the ways we invite "all nations" to encounter a gracious God in worship, Bible study, vacation Bible school, and many other ministry activities.
